Jeffrey Yoskowitz’s list of his former clients includes private clients like Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, Henry Kissinger and George Steinbrenner, and his corporate clients have included Madison Square Garden, Neiman-Marcus, Smith Barney and the United Nations.
Yoskowitz began his career by attending New York City Technical College, where he studied hospitality management. He ended up at Manhattan's celebrated pastry shop Les Friandises, where he worked for three years under the legendary pastry chef Jean-Claude Sanchez. He owned and operated a wholesale bakery for almost nine years that specialized in servicing corporate clients, executive dining rooms and specialty markets. He continues to use this expertise to help students in his time away from ICE, as part of the team behind Food Start Up Help.
"I try to help my students by demystifying the concepts we work on so they can increase their level of understanding, and give them the confidence they need that will allow them to use their own creativity once they have been able to master the fundamentals," says Chef Yoskowitz.
