Biography
Chef Jose Baca is a highly accomplished chef with more than two decades of experience across luxury hotels, resorts, and restaurant operations. His culinary roots trace back to his Peruvian heritage, inspiring a career devoted to refining and modernizing traditional Peruvian flavors.
A graduate of the California School of Culinary Arts (Le Cordon Bleu), Chef Baca has held executive leadership roles at major hospitality groups including Marriott International, Loews Hollywood Hotel, and the Renaissance Los Angeles Airport Hotel. He currently serves as Executive Chef at the Hilton Santa Monica Hotel & Suites.
As a Chef-Instructor at ICE’s Los Angeles campus, Chef Baca focuses on operational excellence, leadership, and real-world kitchen management—preparing students to succeed in high-volume, professional environments.
