Carrie Smith returned to teaching at ICE in 2022 after spending two years sailing with her family. She brings her decades of experience working in restaurants, hotels, as a bakery owner, and as a product and marketing manager.
Chef Smith is a wedding cake designer, chocolate and sugar expert with a love of plant-forward cuisine. Chef Smith holds an AOS degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY and has been a Certified Executive Pastry Chef from the American Culinary Federation since 2009.
Chef Smith has been working at ICE since August 2022.
