Drinking with Clarity: Mastering Clear Spirit Cocktails

Anthony Caporale
Wednesday, May 23, 6:30-8:30pm
$95 • 1 session

Vodka is the most popular spirit served in America, and gin is experiencing a resurgence, the likes of which it hasn't seen since Prohibition. But many modern mixologists give short shrift to these clear spirits, favoring the bolder flavors imparted by wood-aged liquors like bourbon or rye. If you have a preference for more subtle tastes in your cocktails, or if you simply want to master mixing with vodka and gin without
overpowering their delicate character, this class is for you. With cocktail expert Anthony Caporale, we'll explore classics such as the Collins; the Gin Rickey; and the Martini; and branch out to more exotic preparations like the Ramos Gin Fizz and the Aviation.
