The Institute of Culinary Education offers a variety of tuition discounts for qualifying students — see below for those currently available.

Please note: the Double Diploma discount can be combined with one other discount. No other discounts can be combined.

Learn your practical kitchen skills while refining your business acumen. Enrolling in our Restaurant & Culinary Management or Hospitality & Hotel Management programs in addition to either the Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking Arts or Plant-Based Culinary Arts programs gives you the opportunity to “double major” and gain two diplomas, bringing you knowledge and expertise in both while offering valuable tuition incentives.

A $2,500 discount is applied to the balance due for the Culinary ArtsPastry & Baking Arts and Plant-Based Culinary Arts programs and a $750 allowance is applied to the balance due for Restaurant & Culinary Management and Hospitality & Hotel Management programs provided students meet the qualifying criteria.

U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents: The student’s permanent home address (student’s true and fixed home, to which student intends to return and remain) is in excess of 100 miles from the school. The student must provide proof of permanent home address in the form of government-issued photo identification that has not expired (e.g., driver’s license) or U.S. passport in addition to a recent utility bill or federal mail. International students are not eligible for this discount.

2022 International Student Incentive: International students are eligible for a discount of $2,500 applied to the balance due for Career Culinary Arts and Pastry & Baking Arts program classes between January 1, 2022 and July 31, 2022. Copy of valid passport and visa will be required. Applies to morning or afternoon schedules only as indicated in the applicable Enrollment Agreement.

ICE's programs are approved by the New York State Approving Agency for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® educational benefits available for active duty military members, veterans, guardsmen, reservists, and other eligibles from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as well the tuition assistance benefits available to military members from the Department of Defense (DOD) or New York State.

For the Culinary Arts and Pastry & Baking Arts programs, a $5,000 discount is applied to the Balance Due after all applicable benefits have been applied and upon the presentation of appropriate military or veteran credentials. For the Restaurant & Culinary Management and Hospitality & Hotel Management programs, a $750 discount is applied to the Balance Due after all applicable benefits have been applied and upon the presentation of appropriate military or veteran credentials.

Applies to Morning or Afternoon schedules only as indicated in the applicable Enrollment Agreement. Health-Supportive Culinary Arts is not eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill® at this time.
