The ICE Community on the Small Screen
When national or local TV shows are looking for great chefs to appear on their programs they often turn to ICE alumni, students and chef-instructors.
The school has been showcased on national TV shows including Top Chef, Hell’s Kitchen, Today, Chopped, Dr. Oz, Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off, Throwdown! With Bobby Flay and many others. With chef-instructors, alumni and students in nearly every facet of the food industry, it's easy to tap into ICE's various talent and top-notch facilities.
Featured Appearances Include
ICE chef-instructor James Briscione was a two-time champion on Food Network's Chopped. After winning the grand prize of $10,000, Chef James was invited back to compete in Chopped Champions.
ICE Alum Marc Murphy is frequently a judge on Food Network's Chopped.
ICE chef-instructors have made numerous appearances to teach cooking techniques and methods, provide information on ingredients and share unique recipes.
ICE chef-instructors and alumni: Michael Cecconi, Allison Fishman, Trish Magwood, Denisse Oller, Kelly Senyei and Elisa Strauss, among others, have been featured.
For the 2018 #CulinaryVoice Scholarship Contest, ICE joined forces with ABC’s The Chew to announce the scholarship competition and air the finals on the show, which determined the winners of full scholarships to ICE.

BEAT BOBBY FLAY
ICE Creative Director Michael Laiskonis has appeared numerous times as a judge on Bobby Flay’s Food Network competition show.
ICE students have appeared on Martha Bakes to learn baking techniques from Martha Stewart as part of her TV show.
FOOD NETWORK CHALLENGE
Elisa Strauss ('95) won first place in the Food Network's Extreme Cake Challenge in 2007.
TOP CHEF JUST DESSERTS
ICE Alum Gail Simmons is a judge on Bravo's Emmy Award–winning series Top Chef and Top Chef Masters. She is also the host of Top Chef: Just Desserts. Gail has been with Food & Wine since 2004, handling special projects.
