Paul Salmon is the chairman of the award-winning Rockhouse Hotel which recently celebrated its 50-year anniversary as well as its sister property Skylark Negril Beach Resort, two boutique hotels in Negril, Jamaica. Paul is also the managing partner at Miss Lily’s, the beloved Caribbean restaurant with locations in New York City, Dubai and Negril, Jamaica as well as the Founding & operating partner of Joe’s Pub and The Library Restaurant located at the Joseph Papp Public Theater which is one of New York’s most renowned live music and performance venues.
As a native of Melbourne, Australia, Paul moved to New York City in 1991 to work in the finance industry, a few years later transitioning into hospitality industry.
Now with over 30 years of industry experience, Paul is a thought leader in responsible hospitality and sustainable tourism and is also a co-founder and chairman of the Rockhouse Foundation – the charitable arm of Rockhouse Hotel Group – which has raised over $10 million to help transform Jamaica’s childhood education system.
Paul currently lives in New York City with his family and travels back and forth to Negril heading all hotel and restaurant operations.
