From 10 years as the award-winning chef for the Walt Disney Company to the corporate chef for Driscoll’s Berries, George has been active in the culinary field for over 40 years. A best-selling author of 15 books ranging from a single subject to historical books on California foods. Currently, George has food segments on WGN-TV Chicago, NBC-Tampa, Daytime Show, and CBS-San Diego, his home station. George has been on every market in the US throughout his career, from Hallmark’s Home and Family show to ABC Mike and Maty. George has been a contributor for every major newspaper and magazine in the country, from The New York Times, USAToday, to the Los Angeles Times. For over 30 seasons, George has also conducted European tours of food destinations for ‘foodies”. The most popular year after year has been “Walking in Julia’s Footsteps” in the South of France. George resides in Southern California.
