2025 Student Culinary Competition
Cheer on the three finalists in ICE’s 2025 Student Culinary Competition as they compete in a live cook-off showcasing their original recipes. A panel of esteemed judges will taste each dish and select a winner, who will receive a $1,000 cash prize and the opportunity to stage at the three-Michelin-starred Per Se.
The judges are:
• Gabriel Kreuther, chef-owner of Gabriel Kreuther
• Katie Stilo, Emmy Award-Winning Culinary Producer and Food Stylist
• Carla Garcia, Executive Sous Chef at Jean Georges
The finalists are:
• Alex McGuiness: “Corn on the Coast” Seared Scallops Fried Polenta, Sweet Corn Puree, Ginger Miso Foam, Braised Shallot and Charred Corn Salad, Crispy Prosciutto, Blueberry Balsamic Reduction, Coral Tuile
• Juliana Burrows: Isthmus Amber Cod, Green Romesco, Herb Fingerlime Relish and Otoe Crisps
• Autumn Henson: Confit Tofu with Fresh Rice Noodles and Soy-Yuzu Glaze
The second place winner will receive a $500 gift certificate and an opportunity to stage at Gabriel Kreuther Restaurant. The third place prize is an engraved knife from Korin.
