ICE put me on a food services path, and helped lead me to my ultimate goal, which was to own my own restaurant.
After graduating from Lehigh University, Eric's career began in Los Angeles with stints in acting, writing and directing. He enrolled in ICE's Culinary Arts and Management program in 2004. Eric describes coming to the school as "like being lost in the desert, and finding my people". He completed his externship in the kitchens of Gramercy Tavern. Perlmutter went on to work as the General Manager at AQ Kafe and Regional Marketing Manager for Chipotle Mexican Grill. Now, he owns E&E Grill House, Hill & Bay, and Tali & Tali Dolce with his partner Eddie Bergman.
