ICE Hospitality Management Program Underway

ICE's inaugural Hospitality Management class started October 12, and after just three weeks of class, students are well on their way to a fast track to a career in the hospitality management industry.

For now, ICE is at their service: They’ve just received their introduction to the hospitality, travel and tourism industry and are learning about the vast opportunities awaiting them after their education at ICE. In the coming months, they will learn a wide array of subjects, including hotel operations, property management, food and beverage management, event planning, and sales and marketing, just to name a few.

In June, the students will put their classroom theory to test with real-world experience on their externship — out in the real world, where they want to be. Director of the Hospitality Management Program Tom Voss, said, “It gives me great pleasure to educate students at ICE, a school now as committed to excellence in the hospitality industry as it is the culinary industry, with a program designed to stay true to what made its other award-winning programs so successful.” He added, “We have a motivated, enthusiastic group of students in the first class, and that just makes the teachers and staff here want to be the best they can to prepare our students for their new career.” What more could you ask? Good luck to ICE’s first-ever Hospitality Management class of 2011.
