Mixology, Wine & Beer Events

Event Options for Your Party

The Institute of Culinary Education in New York runs the most successful private cooking and mixology event program in the nation.Cocktails and Mixology

If you like to entertain and are looking to learn more about cocktail making and tasting, a mixology event at ICE is the perfect choice! Over a two-hour event, guests enjoy a 90-minute hands-on lesson that focuses on the shaking basics, from the importance of using fresh juices, to what tools are needed for a seamlessly stocked bar at home. Our expert mixologists will explain what makes the perfect cocktail, and when you’re ready to shake and stir, your group will have the opportunity to make and sample seven different cocktails. Non-alcoholic variations can be provided.

One of our most popular themes is the “Speakeasy,” featuring such Prohibition-era cocktails as the Sazerac and Ramos Gin Fizz. If you prefer more of an international flare, the ‘Around the World’ package will take guests to the United Kingdom with a Pimm’s Cup and even to Malaysia with the Singapore Sling. Finally, if it’s a classy, upscale experience you’re looking for, we suggest our “Formal Affair’ package with a swanky Vesper Martini and a festive Champagne Cocktail. Our pre-determined themes are just a starting point; menus can be customized to clients’ tastes.
