2013 Season Recap

ICE and the Jets kicked off the Jets Cooking School season premiere with a never before seen hands-on tailgate at MetLife Stadium. Fans enjoyed an afternoon of outdoor grilling with classic tailgate favorites, plus an exclusive tour of MetLife Stadium that included a walk out onto the gridiron.

Former Jets tight end Fred Baxter and wide receiver Wesley Walker made a special appearance in the first Jets Cooking School event at ICE. Jets fans learned the basics of preparing steaks and sides, all while cheering the Jets on to victory as they conquered the Atlanta Falcons.

Jet fans enjoyed an evening of sipping beer and bourbon cocktails while preparing a menu of savory dishes, all infused with even more bourbon and beer. Special guests included former Jets linebacker Greg Buttle and Freeman McNeil, former running back.

Guests arrived at MetLife Stadium with a warm welcome from the Jets Flight Crew cheerleaders. For this second Stadium tailgating event, we grilled up New Orleans-style dishes in anticipation of the Jets taking on the New Orleans Saints the next day.

Jets fans gathered in the kitchens of ICE for a night of Monday Night Football with current Jets offensive lineman Willie Colon and defensive tackle Damon "Snacks” Harrison. Guests were challenged with recreating the two players’ favorite dishes, Willie Colon’s Meatballs and Damon Harrison’s Crawfish Fettuccine.

The Official Jets Cooking School extended its sold out season by adding a class just for Super Sunday. Jets players and offensive linemen Willie Colon and Austin Howard made a special appearance as Jets fans prepared an ultimate menu of dishes worthy of the biggest game of the year.
