From hands-on pasta making and whole hog butchery to beer pairings, global grilling and more, Jets players and ICE chefs are working together like never before to bring you the ultimate season of food, football and fun. There’s no question that beer and tailgate dishes go hand in hand, but here at ICE, we believe certain beer pairs better with food than others. ICE chefs will partner with experts from Miller Coors for a sampling of recipes that have been expertly paired with various brews. You’ll be introduced to the art of pairing and learn how to incorporate beer into your favorite recipes! Watch the Monday Night Football as the Jets take on the Colts inside ICE's all-green sports bar along with former players Tony Richardson and Erik Coleman in attendance. The menu will include Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Blue Moon Belgian White, Chipotle Skirt Steak and Poblano Corn Bread Salad with Aguila and Roasted Strawberry Fudge Sundaes with Redd’s Strawberry Ale. Don’t miss out on watching the Jets game either – it’ll be on TVs throughout the night! Skills range from easy to challenging, and ICE chefs will help you master them all. Making pasta by hand and shaping it into a wide range of shapes is not only easy, it’s fun! In this class, ICE chefs will teach you how to prepare the perfect pasta dough, popular shapes like pappardelle and ravioli, plus delicious sauces and dessert! What’s more, current Jets players Buster Skrine and Demario Davis will be in attendance. With tips on how to make pasta in advance of game day, we see a delicious Sunday in your future. Love pork? Join ICE chefs in their love of the South and all things pork. Plus, have the chance to eat and mingle with current Jets players Buster Skrine and Demario Davis. First, you’ll watch an ICE chef demonstrate how to properly break down a whole hog. Then, you’ll use those parts to create succulent dishes from Pulled Pork Sliders to Grilled Ribs and more. Plus, get back to basics with a detailed knife skills training that goes beyond pork to include the assembly of Roasted Cauliflower and Butternut Squash Salads and more.
