Kamal Rose grew up in the Caribbean and moved to New York City when he was 15-years-old. In his last year of high school he started working at Tribeca Grill where we worked every station in the kitchen. In 2009, he won a $20,000 scholarship in a national cooking competition and came to ICE. He was promoted to Executive Chef of Tribeca Grill in 2012. Rose has cooked at many noteworthy charitable events supporting the James Beard Foundation, Kristen Ann Carr Fund, City Harvest and Share Our Strength.
