Kate Edwards graduated from the University of Massachusetts and holds a certificate in Executive Coaching from iCoach at Baruch College. Throughout her 28-year career Kate has worked with some of the best restaurants, including Balthazar, Per Se, and Brooklyn Fare. She has developed concepts ranging from small quick-serve restaurants to luxury resorts and to 3 Michelin star-awarded properties. Throughout her career she has worked in successful restaurants and in those that failed, served everything from casual comfort food to world-class haute cuisine, and managed the most exclusive destinations as well as high-volume restaurant machines. In addition to teaching at ICE, Kate is a contributing writer for both Culintro.com and Restaurant Hospitality Magazine and has been quoted in magazines as varied as Haute Living, First For Women, In-Flight Insider and Fast Casual.
