Ingrid earned her culinary diploma from Le Cordon Blue Culinary Institute in Paris after traveling to Europe to pursue a modeling career. Overseas, she found a love for food and becoming a chef gave her the opportunity to travel the world. Prior to working at Star Academy, Ingrid was the chef-owner of Ital Kitchen, a vegan-vegetarian restaurant in Brooklyn. In 2012, Ingrid was the head chef at Better Being 940, a market-driven lunch service in Hell’s Kitchen. Ingrid was the sous chef for several years at Soho House and Soho Grand. Ingrid has also worked with the China Grill Restaurant Management Group, the Matthew Kenny Group and at Commune Restaurant. She’s appeared on “Chopped,” and teaches everything but baking at ICE to share her knowledge with others.
