Brittany Wineglass studied culinary arts and hospitality management at State University of New York (SUNY) at Cobleskill. She earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration – Hospitality Management, a minor in Culinary Arts, and an Associate’s in Restaurant Management.
Brittany worked at J.P. Morgan in foreclosure and loan modification, and has experience with SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) and IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). She’s been with Marriott International for more than eight years, and is working on her MBA in Ethical Leadership at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York.
Brittany is teaching Intro to Hospitality, Rooms Division and Facility Management, and Hotel Property Management Systems and Technology at ICE. Her advice for students: "It’s okay to make mistakes — no mistake is a failure, just a lesson to learn from. Everyone’s idea of being successful will be different. Being different in a world full of mistakes is great. So go make chocolate cake."
