Cooking Classes
Regarded by many as America’s largest menu of hands-on specialty cooking classes, ICE's School of Recreational Cooking in New York City offers more than 1,700 classes each year, in techniques and cuisines from every corner of the globe. All career students at ICE’s New York campus are given a number of credits to take additional classes offered by the school’s Recreational Cooking program.

Classes are taught by visiting guest chefs, cookbook authors, food scholars and ICE’s own expert chef-instructors. Topics are updated every season to reflect the demands and trends of the culinary world, while offering programs that allow you to explore the rich culinary traditions from around the world. Whether your passion is Korean barbecue, Tunisian cooking, Argentine pastry or Viennese desserts, it's on the menu.

Professional Demonstrations and Extracurriculars
ICE offers enrichment classes focused on cooking and beverage-related elements of the food industry, free for alumni and students. ICE invites experts in their fields from all over the world to teach, lecture and cook for our student body, providing our students with the exclusive opportunity to watch, interact with and ask questions of these successful epicureans.

Throughout the year, ICE is fortunate to bring in great culinary entrepreneurs from around the nation. From California winemakers and New Orleans chefs, to food website founders, to specialty food company presidents, these resources are eager to share their knowledge and meet our students.
