Originally from Hawaii, Rommel Gopez got his first taste of international travel when he joined the US Army after high school. From there, he chose to work on a cruise ship so he could continue seeing the world. He used this experience in hospitality to land his first job in a hotel on solid ground. With the goal of earning the diploma to complement his work experience, Rommel enrolled in ICE’s Hospitality Management program. Today, as Director of Guest Relations at Hotel Edison, Rommel draws on the skills he learned at ICE to train his team on the latest technology and industry practices.
