Biography

Grinshpan’s foray into the culinary arts began at Le Cordon Bleu in London, where she received a "Grande Diplome" in both Pastry and Culinary Arts. Following graduation, Grinshpan set her sights on traveling the world, spending several months backpacking through India and Southeast Asia. She then settled in Tel-Aviv for a brief period, where she crafted desserts for a local restaurant. Once she returned to the states, Grinshpan enrolled in ICE’s Culinary Management Program, graduating in 2008. From there, she worked at New York City bakery, Babycakes and eventually worked her way into television. Today, she is the host of two shows on the Cooking Channel, Eden Eats and Log on and Eat. She is also the co-owner of EthNicitY Productions.. In 2014, Eden was selected for the elite Forbes' “30 under 30” list in the Food & Wine Industry and has plans to open her own restaurant soon. She has also been a judge on Sugar Showdown and Donut Showdown for the Cooking Channel, Chopped Canada for the Food Network and a guest co-host of VH1 Big Morning Buzz live with Nick Lachey. She currently hosts Top Chef Canada, and has recently partnered with ESquared Hospitality in New York City to open a contemporary middle eastern, fast casual restaurant.
