Michael Lomonaco made a name for himself at the legendary 21 Club in the 1980s and '90s and was the last chef at Windows on the World in the World Trade Center, where he'd earned a two-star review from The New York Times. He opened Porter House Bar and Grill in Time Warner Center in 2006 and a more casual cocktail lounge, Center Bar, in 2011. Grub Street called Porter House the absolute best steakhouse in New York in 2018, it made Eater's Essential Restaurants in New York City list, and it's won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence.
