Chef Keller has 10 restaurants and has won five James Beard Awards, including Best Chef: California in 1996, Outstanding Chef in 1997, Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America in 2000, and Outstanding Restaurateur in 2007. The French Laundry was No. 1 on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2003 and 2004, and its legacy is documented in Chef Keller's sixth cookbook, which debuted in October.
