Chef Sohrob Esmaili received his diploma in Pastry & Baking Arts from Le Cordon Bleu, Pasadena before graduating with his bachelor’s degree from the Culinary Institute of America. He went on to cook at iconic Manhattan restaurants Jean-Georges and Gramercy Tavern before moving back to California where became sous chef and eventually led the pastry team at the San Francisco Proper Hotel.

Chef Sohrob began teaching Pastry & Baking Arts at the Institute of Culinary Education in 2021.
