A CIA graduate, Chef Kwame gained experience at Per Se and Eleven Madison Park before moving to Washington, D.C., where he opened and closed Shaw Bijou, ran fast-casual Philly Wing Fry and made Afro-Caribbean fare at Kith and Kin. Chef Kwame won the James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2019.
