Chef Ludo Lefebvre:
Chef Ludo Lefebvre is an influential chef on the Los Angeles dining scene. After training in France for 12 years, Ludo moved to L.A. and earned the Mobil Travel Guide Five-Star Award at two restaurants: L’Orangerie in 1999 and 2000 and Bastide in 2006. From 2007 to 2012, he embarked on a multi-city restaurant tour called LudoBites, demonstrating the viability of the pop-up restaurant business model. Today, his endeavors include inventive, refined cooking at the award-winning Trois Mec, bistro-style cuisine at Petit Trois and Petit Trois Valley, and casual fried chicken at LudoBird at the STAPLES Center and Universal CityWalk.
In 2015, LA Weekly named Chef Ludo the Best Chef in L.A., France awarded him the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, and Relais & Chateaux designated him one of the World’s 50 Greatest Chefs. He’s a James Beard Award finalist for Rising Star Chef, Best Chef: West and Best Culinary Program (for hosting “Mind of Chef”). In 2019, the California Michelin Guide awarded Trois Mec one star and deemed Petit Trois a Bib Gourmand.
Chef Ludo has publised two cookbooks, “LudoBites” and “Crave,” starred on Season 5 of “Mind of a Chef” on PBS and “The Taste” on ABC, and produces and stars in “Ludo à la Maison,” a home cooking series on YouTube and FoodandWine.com.
