History of the Cocktail and Contemporary Trends

Join ICE and Diana Pittet for a spirited lecture and demonstration tracing the history of the cocktail and showcasing some of today’s hottest trends. Diana earned her master's degree in food studies from New York University and owns Night Owl Hospitality, a cocktail catering company in Asbury Park, New Jersey. She teaches a graduate class on the history, culture and politics of drinking at NYU and has written on the subject of cheese (another passion) and drinks for such publications as Seven Fifty Daily.​
