Jeff Haines works on the admissions team at the Institute of Culinary Education

Jeff Haines

Admissions Representative

Jeff Haines might as well have been born with a whisk in one hand and a spatula in the other. Growing up in a tight-knit family that loved food, it was no surprise that the pastry kitchen would be where he found his calling. After graduating culinary school in 2007, Jeff worked his way around some of the top restaurants in Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Pasadena and Santa Barbara. With over 12 years of experience as a pastry chef, Jeff comes to ICE excited to share his experiences and knowledge of the industry and will always recommend eating dessert first.

Mallory Rajan works on admissions at Institute of Culinary Education

Mallory Rajan

Admissions Representative

Born and raised in Los Angeles in a multicultural family, Mallory grew up in an environment that not only fostered creativity, but encouraged personal growth and independence from a young age. Eventually, her love of all things creative and all things sweet led her to a career in cake decorating and pastry. Now at ICE, Mallory aims to encourage students to follow and foster their own passion and creativity for the culinary field. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that!
