An ICE education accelerates students into the job market quickly, bringing an average of six new job opportunities to each graduate.ICE externships put students into the job market while they study by creating valuable connections to the industry.

92% of alumni report that their ICE education has proved somewhat or very important to their careers*. That's because your success is our focus from day one. In your first week of classes, you’ll meet one-on-one with our Career Services Advisors to build the plan for your future and to learn about ICE’s extensive job placement and networking services for students and alumni.

Whether you’re interested in restaurant industry careers, other food careers or opportunities in the hospitality industry, as an ICE student or graduate, you’ll benefit from a full range of career services. : From culinary job fairs to in-house workshops and career development seminars on such topics as restaurant management, food writing and starting a catering business—we provide everything you need to launch your dream career in food.

During individual advisement sessions throughout your time at ICE, our advisors also offer assistance in résumé writing, interview skills and other opportunities for professional development. Volunteer opportunities with chefs and other food professionals provide additional networking and real world experience to students during their studies.

As graduation nears, our Career Services Department works closely with you in developing your professional presence; matching your skills, goals and personalities with the food jobs, restaurant careers and hospitality or hotel careers offered by our extensive employer network. Whether a bustling, highly-regarded restaurant, an artisanal bread bakery, a trendy food magazine or a luxury hotel, we help you get there.

Even as you advance through your career, the doors of our Career Services Department remain open to all alumni—regardless of your graduation date. In fact, 28% of all 2016 job placements by our Career Services team benefitted students who graduated prior to 2015.

Our ever-expanding network stays with you for a lifetime, as we actively provide hundreds of new hospitality and food job listings to alumni each and every week, including everything from entry-level positions to advanced roles and new business opportunities. As a graduate of the Career Programs, you are eligible for our weekly email of culinary job listings, alumni news, continuing education, industry and school events.
