ICE alumnus Miguel Trinadad is on a mission to push Filipino food into New York’s culinary spotlight. As executive chef and co-owner of Jeepney Filipino Gastropub and Maharlika Filipino Moderno, chef Miguel brings a new perspective to Filipino cuisine. He honed his skill and love for Filipino cuisine on a three-month backpacking exploration across the island nation. In this exciting demonstration, chef Miguel will make a few different kinds of pulutan. Literally meaning “something to pick up”, pulutan is Filipino “finger food”. Come and sample the delicious snacks of the Philippines with this talented and successful ICE alum! Free for current career students and alumni; general public, $40.
