A truly inspiring experience with Catherine Lau of Hong Kong as she demonstrates advanced cake decorating techniques with a focus on dough figurine. By utilizing new concepts, materials, tools and techniques, students will create 4 different animals as warm up before making a cute baby, a Santa Claus and a girl. Catherine's works have won the title, Industrial Artist, awarded by the UNESCO and the Best of Show in the New York State Fair. Besides her 5 solo exhibitions, she frequently appears in media and is the author of 5 books. She has been teaching figurine creation for more than 15 years and had worked in projects for organizations such as Hermes and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd.
