The Institute of Culinary Education is proud to partner with IBM Watson in its mission to expand cognitive computing beyond the world of computers and into unchartered territory, and in ICE's case, the culinary arts. For more than three years, ICE has served as Watson's primary culinary resource, feeding the system "a healthy spoonful of 30,000 recipes" as well as collaborating with ICE's leading chefs to develop never-before-seen ingredient combinations and recipes. The product of combining both man and computer has resulted in the first-ever collaborative cookbook between ICE and IBM: "Cognitive Cooking with Chef Watson."
