Jenny McCoy attended the Pastry and Baking Program Chicago’s Kendall College when she was just 17. After graduating from culinary school, she pursued a degree in food writing at DePaul University. She then worked for Emeril Lagasse, at Delmonico, in his test kitchens, wrote for his blog, and helped develop ideas for his television shows.
After her time working with Emeril, Jenny worked alongside another celebrity chef, Missy Robbins at A Voce, creating recipes and teaching her staff how to make them. While at A Voce, Jenny discovered her love for teaching and reached out to ICE to begin teaching recreational classes. Additionally, Jenny serves as the Co-Chair of ICE's Center for Advanced Pastry Studies (CAPS) program. In 2013, Jenny's first cookbook was published, entitled Desserts for Every Season.
