Cakes and Cookies of Gramercy Tavern with Miro Uskokovic
The pastry kitchens of Gramercy Tavern and Untitled have waiting lists for externs, so take advantage of this networking opportunity! Chef Miro is the pastry chef of one of NYC's most beloved farm-to-table restaurants, Gramercy Tavern, and now the pastry chef of NYC's most modern pastry program, at Untitled at the Whitney. He'll start by discussing the excitement and challenges of opening a new restaurant while continuing operations at another. Then you'll sample traditional and avant-garde interpretations of his signature desserts, inspired by American cuisine and the bounty of the seasons. Free for current career students and alumni; general public, $40.
