"One of New York City’s leading culinary institutes will be moving from 50 West 23rd Street to 225 Liberty Street, otherwise known as Brookfield Place. ICE’s current lease in the Flatiron District spans approximately 42,000-square-foot across seven floors and includes numerous kitchens and learning facilities. The new facility, scheduled to open in late 2014, will span 71,000 square feet across the 2nd and 3rd floors of Brookfield Place."
“To establish a permanent home for ICE, it was imperative to find a large aspirational location with great regional transportation viability. By signing on with Brookfield Place, we have achieved these goals,” said Rick Smilow, president and chief executive officer of ICE, in a prepared statement. “The facility we are planning will no doubt be one of the world’s most impressive and exciting culinary education centers.”
